Official Sweepstakes Rules:

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PAYMENT OR PURCHASE OF ANY KIND DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

2. Eligibility: The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the continental United States age 21 or older. Employees of the Sponsors (May Company and House Beautiful ) and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parents, advertising agencies and other publishing companies, and their immediate families or household members, are not eligible to win.

3. How to enter: Enter by registering at www.onlyinhousebeautiful.com by 12/01/2005. All entrants must have a valid eMail address. Limit one (1) entry per person and per eMail address during the Sweepstakes period; regardless of whether more than one person uses the same eMail address. Entries that are late, contain errors and/or incomplete information are void and will not be accepted.

4. Prize: Oversized Reversible Towels (264.00) No transfer of the prize to a third party is permitted, and the prize may not be redeemed for cash value. Sponsors make no warranty with respect to prize. The Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at their sole discretion. The Winner is responsible for payment of any and all taxes due in connection with the prize. The Winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability release form within 14 days of notification or the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner will be selected. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate Winner will be selected.

5. Drawing: A random drawing of all eligible entries, will be held within 14 days of the conclusion of the Sweepstakes 12/01/2005. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted by House Beautiful., whose decisions relating to all matters regarding the Sweepstakes are final. The Winner will be notified by eMail. Non-winning entries will not be notified.

6. General Provisions: By participating in the sweepstakes, entrants agree: (i) to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements and all decisions of the Sponsors and (ii) to hold the Sponsors and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and parents harmless from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind, including, without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death, arising out of the Winner’s participation in the Sweepstakes, and acceptance and/or use or misuse of the prize in connection of the Sweepstakes. Entering the Sweepstakes constitutes permission to use the Winner’s name, voice, picture, likeness, opinions and biographical information without further compensation for promotional and/or publicity purposes, unless prohibited by law. The Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify from the Sweepstakes any person they believe has intentionally violated these Official Rules. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised in any way that is beyond the control of the Sponsors, the Sponsors reserve the right to cancel the Sweepstakes and select a Winner from among the eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation. Failure to comply within these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes.

7. Electronic Conditions: Sponsors assume no responsibility for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors, failures of any kinds, delayed computer transmission or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Sponsors reserves the right to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes, in its entirety or in part should virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Sweepstakes. Sponsors are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes by any technical or human errors, which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Sweepstakes.

8. Privacy: Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized company employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. By entering this Sweepstakes, the Sponsors may access your demographic information (eMail, name, city, state, zip code, etc) for the purpose of future mailings and/or promotional initiatives. Please know all future initiatives will allow for an optout mechanism. Except for limited instances, we do not share personally identifiable information collected at this site with non-affiliated third parties.

9. Award winner’s name can be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) to: House Beautiful, Attn. House Beautiful Collection Reversible Towel Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 1706, Sandusky, Ohio, 44871-1706. Vermont residents do not have to enclose a SASE to obtain the winner’s name.
